To register for the ACT, visit the official ACT website. You'll need approximately 30 minutes and should have the following ready:
- A computer with internet access
- A credit card or other payment method
- High school course details
- A recent headshot photo
Regular registration deadlines typically fall about a month before the test date, and late registration is available for an additional fee. It is advisable to register early to secure your preferred test center and date.
Score Release
Multiple-choice scores are available online 2–8 weeks after the test date. If you take the ACT with writing, scores will be reported only after all your scores are available, including writing, typically within 5–8 weeks. Remember that score release dates can vary, so plan your test date accordingly, mainly if you aim to meet college application deadlines.
International Testing
The ACT is offered on select dates for students outside the United States, including those in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. International test dates may differ from U.S. dates; not all test centers offer the ACT on every date. It's essential to check the availability of test centers and dates in your region well in advance. Registration procedures and deadlines for international students are similar to those in the U.S., but additional fees may apply.
